Almacy & Company, CPAs, PA is a progressive firm of Certified Public Accountants that has been serving the Washington D.C. and Baltimore metro area community for over 30 years. Incorporated in 1978 by founder John M. Almacy, and operated by current President Terri L. Almacy, we provide personalized income tax, financial planning, and business consulting services from our headquarters in Frederick, Maryland.

About Us

Terri became a CPA in 1982 after graduating from George Mason University. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants and the Maryland Society of Accountants and Tax Professionals. She has extensive experience with business and individual clients in a wide range of professions including retail, automotive, medicine, nonprofit, education, professional services, and real estate. Her understanding of tax, accounting and finance allows her to help her clients grow and thrive.

In the Frederick community Terri currently serves as Treasurer on the Board of the Frederick Art’s Council, is a member of the Women’s Giving Circle of Frederick and the Women’s Business Network as well as the Frederick Chamber of Commerce. She is also an active member of several charitably minded non-profit fraternal organizations.

In her free time, Terri enjoys being with family and friends and spending days outside; kayaking, riding through the countryside and learning fly fishing.
